Loyalty cards for your digital wallet
Overview
Small businesses still rely heavily on paper punch cards to drive repeat visits. They’re easy to lose, difficult to track, and provide no insight into customer behavior. From the business side, there’s no automation, no retention data, and no clear way to identify or reward loyal customers.
StreakIt (internally referred to as Royalty Card) started as an exploration of whether loyalty systems could be made simpler for both customers and small business owners without requiring another app download.
The concept was a digital, Wallet-based loyalty card that customers could access via Apple Wallet or QR codes. No app installation. No accounts to manage. Just a lightweight, persistent loyalty artifact that customers wouldn’t forget and businesses could actually learn from.
I approached StreakIt as both a product and business experiment. This included in-person customer discovery with small businesses, early solution design, and mapping a path from pilot adoption to a sustainable SMB subscription model.
The focus was not just on building a tool, but on validating demand, willingness to pay, and operational feasibility before committing to full development.
